An exciting post today, all about a brand I’ve been dying to share with you. You may or may not have heard of Pacifica already, but if not let me introduce you.

Already a huge deal in the US, Pacifica are a 100% cruelty free and vegan skincare/makeup brand that have just landed in the UK. As you guys probably know, I went vegan (after most of my life spent veggie) just over a year ago now and I’ve actually found sourcing vegan friendly skincare products more of an issue than food! Whilst a lot of brands are cruelty free, this doesn’t necessarily mean vegan as these products can still contain animal ingredients such as lanolin (from sheep), silk proteins, carmine, collagen and so on. It can be a real minefield out there, which is why I’m always buzzed to find 100% vegan brands.

Here are a few of my favourites that I’ve been using recently…

These Coconut Cleansing Wipes are quite possibly the best smelling wipes I think I’ve ever used! They transport me right from Cambridgeshire to the Maldives. If only, eh? These natural face wipes are both sulphate and paraben free, offering a convenient way to cleanse and remove dirt. I find these super handy for when I’m going on a weekend away, holiday or festival. They’re great for all skin types too, as sometimes I find wipes can leave my face feeling a little sore but these leave my skin feeling clean and soft. 

If I’m at home and want to give my skin a proper cleanse, then I’ll reach for the Coconut Micellar Cleansing Toner. I recently found out the micellar water I’d previously been using isn’t vegan so I was stoked to find one that’s a) effective and b) vegan. It melts your makeup off your skin and even removes my most stubborn eyeliner and mascara which is quite a task. Again it smells just dreamy, perfect for any coconut fans out there!

The final product I’ve been trialling is the Coconut Probiotic Rehab Cream. This cream is designed to boost hydration and fight any skin hangovers. It’s designed with all skincare types in mind and works to combat stressed skin, something that I definitely suffer with! So whether it’s stress, lack of sleep or late nights this cream perks up your skin and leaves it with a radiant glow. I’ve been using this both morning and night and have definitely noticed that my skin looks healthier, dewier and just generally fresher.
