Someone recently made a comment that stuck with me “we spend almost half our lives in bed, why would you scrimp on a mattress”. I’d never really thought about it that way before, but it’s so true! Having a good quality mattress is so important for our sleep quality, backs, and bodies in general. There’s nothing worse than a night’s sleep on a cheap, uncomfortable mattress.

Our mattress has reached the stage in life where it’s time to go to mattress heaven. With that in mind it was time to find a suitable (and hopefully upgraded) replacement. I quite honestly wasn’t sure where to start, there are a hell of a lot of mattresses on the market, and even a quick Google search felt a little overwhelming.

Is the Simba mattress good quality?

I am totally impressed by the quality of the mattress, and I can confirm after a few night’s sleep, it’s probably the comfiest mattress I’ve ever owned! For me, dragging myself (and toddler, just to paint an accurate picture here) around endless shops laying on 100’s of mattresses that other humans have also pretended to sleep on just does not sound appealing. I may sound like a sales lady here, I promise I’m not working on any sort of % sales commission, but I can’t fault the process. Is a Simba mattress worth the money?

It’s early days, but so far, I would say absolutely yes! The mattress looks and feels of premium quality, I’m having a much better night’s sleep in comparison to my previous mattress, and in terms of price, the Simba mattress is extremely competitive. I’m currently in the process of switching up my toddlers room, getting rid of the cot in favour of a double floor-bed, and I’ll definitely be investing in a Simba mattress for him too!
