I was recently contacted by Ocean Finance regarding a project of theirs offering bloggers a relaxing day to ease the stresses of everyday life. Of course I obliged as a day of relaxation was just what I needed after a hectic week. Now, when I really relax I put on Netflix and grab some popcorn but a blog post consisting of me on my sofa in my sweats probably wouldn’t be particularly interesting so I decided to do my next favourite chill out activity – brunch!

Myself and Charlie headed into our local city of Cambridge for a stroll around followed by a lovely brunch at Bills. In terms of relaxation, Cambridge is a pretty good city for this. It doesn’t have those city vibes where everyone’s in a hurry to be somewhere. It’s fairly slow paced and a lot less crowded as it has been as it gets so busy over summer with all the tourists.

So we walked, we ate, we lounged and then had a mooch about the city before coming back home and collapsing on the couch for a few hours with Forensic Files – an American investigation show I got into whilst in Florida then discovered it was on Netflix, highly recommend.
