So I think the last time I wrote a post similar to this was back in 2012, so I thought it was time for an update! Plus I just bought the super cute cacti makeup bag, and needed an excuse to show it off so there you go…

I tend to try out lots of different products for both skincare and makeup but there are some that I will stick with if I find it really works for me. The Chanel perfection lumiere velvet foundation is always a repeat buy, it’s expensive but a great colour match for my skin (I take Beige 20). The Laura Mercier radiance primer I will definitely buy again too, it’s the first Laura Mercier product I’ve tried and helps with an even coverage and makes my foundation last a lot longer.

I’ve recently got into highlighters, one that I found that’s relatively cheap is the Soap & Glory Hocus Focus illuminating highlighter. I use it on my cheekbones and it gives a really nice subtle glow, I’d definitely recommend it!

I haven’t featured my complete current range of skincare products but I thought I would include a couple that I’m really loving at mo. Firstly the NipĀ + Fab Glycolic fix. They’re little exfoliating pads that I use after I’ve cleansed before bedtime. They make my skin feel much cleaner and scrape away any dirt leftover on your skin. I’ve also been trying out a new day cream from & Other Stories. To be honest I wasn’t expecting great things as it’s predominantly a clothing shop and not a skincare specialist. I’ve been pleasantly surprised though, it feels like velvet and my skin appears to be loving it!

If you have any questions about any of the products I use feel free to drop me a comment!
