*Post in collaboration with TK Maxx

Christmas is creeping up on us, and I’m feeling all kinds of festive at the moment. I’ve always said, and stand by, the fact that the lead up is actually so much better than the day itself. I love decorating the tree, making the house festive, wandering around Christmas markets and bopping along to cheesy tunes. Who doesn’t love a bit of Wham’s Last Christmas? This year I’ve been super organised with my Christmas shopping. Last year I had a dream (well, nightmare) that it was Christmas Day and I’d forgotten to buy everyone’s presents. I woke up in a hot sweat with sheer panic running through me. Safe to say, I won’t let that happen this year!

You may have seen over on my Instagram, I’ve teamed up with TK Maxx (errr hello DREAM collab) to showcase some of the incredible gifts they have on offer at amazing prices. I’m a huge TK Maxx fan, I probably go there once a fortnight to mooch around the home section, check out the designer clothes rail and of course, pick up a few candles. It’s a real treasure trove, and I’m fortunate to have two right on my doorstep in Cambridge. Every year I head to TK Maxx to do my Christmas shopping without fail, and this year was no exception.

C00F5BC9-4E62-4D61-A42D-C23418E95C40At TK Maxx you can save £££ on the RRP of designer items, I’ve had some amazing purchases from my local store. On the rails this week I found Rixo, Stella McCartney, Chloé, MSGM and McQueen to name a few. Last year, my mum gifted me a beautiful Zoe Karssen bomber jacket I’d been after for ages, found in TK Maxx at 70% off. Winning! As well as the fabulous selection of clothes and accessories, there’s the home section. The mothership. I can’t tell you how much I LOVE the homeware department at TK Maxx, it’s where 75% of my home furnishings are from. You can find some incredible gifts here, so let me show you what I picked up all for under £50…

I had a few people in mind when browsing for gifts, and as soon as I saw this fabulous globe I knew it was perfect for Charlie. He really wants a nice globe for our office at home, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a whole collection of globes in different sizes and colours. It looks very fancy, but it only cost £19.99!

One of the reasons I love TK Maxx so much is the books and stationary section, it’s like my heaven. I rarely go into the store without coming out with a book of some sort. I found this great travel guide which will look great on a coffee table, ideal for one of my travel-loving pals. I also picked up the atlas inspired 2020 diary for my mum, I thought the design was really interesting and much more inspirational than a plain boring planner! I could have picked up a million other books and notebooks (actually I did, I bought myself a Louis Vuitton catwalk book as a gift to…myself) so I had to restrain myself, to an extent…

My second favourite part of the store is the candle department, TK Maxx is known for its impressive collection of candles, and it’s where I buy all of mine from. I’ve discovered some amazing brands here, and I just love how much choice there is. One of my friends has recently bought a home, so I thought a couple of beautiful-smelling candles would be the perfect pressie for her.

So, there we have my gifting haul, I’m so impressed that I managed to pick up a globe, travel book, 2020 diary and two candles all for under £50. TK Maxx really is a one-stop shop destination, where you can absolutely find something for everyone. From designer clothing to bags, accessories, food hampers, candles, books and everything in between.
