Divine Weather

If you weren’t sure, then the fact that Queensland gets some of the best weather out of the whole country can probably be enough to convince you. In the summer, right about now over there, then you can get some quick thick and humid air. But the sun will shine and it will be a good time to visit. If you time things just right then you’ll be able to enjoy some warm sunny days and calm, balmy evenings.

Snorkeling

Being one of the biggest islands in the world, Australia is known for its watersports. You could choose to visit Brisbane or Southeast Queensland, then you will find some really great spots for snorkeling. You could have to the north to get to Queensland’s Whitsundays, as well as places like Morton Island. 

Camping

If you are looking to explore the great outdoors when you are down under, then being able to go camping is a must for that. One of the best places in Queensland for camping is Fraser Island, which is one of the world’s largest sand islands. Beautiful Beaches

The weather in the country is pretty much guaranteed to be beautiful. But the beaches in Queensland really are stunning and are going to be beautiful all year round. The water tends to not get as cold as the water sown in the southern states, during the winter months, so it is a top pick, for sure. Some of the most beautiful beaches to choose from include Whitehaven Beach and Agnes Waters.

Koalas

You can’t head to Australia without making sure that you visit some of the amazing wildlife that is unique to Australia. So why not play tourist when you’re in Queensland and head to a koala sanctuary? You can get quite hands on with the animals to help them and have a cuddle. But the good news is that you are likely to see them when you’re out and about too, so make sure that you look up when you’re having a walk out and about.

Australia is a great place to be when you want to be outdoors and exploring more. Queensland is somewhere that gives you access to rainforests, coastal roads, as well as mountains. There really are scenic routes to take and some great hikes. Of course, because of the heat in the country, you need to make sure that you are keeping hydrated when out on a hike!
