I’ve been after a new pair of jeans for a while, which usually spells chaos. Why is denim shopping just SO hard?! I’ve never enjoyed shopping for jeans and usually find they’re either too long, too tight on the bum or massive on the waist. It always seems like a never-ending task that leaves me feeling stressed, annoyed and wanting to break down in the Topshop changing room. It happens.
On a whim, I ordered a pair of black jeans with a frayed hem from Asos using the black Friday discount. I had little hope and prepared myself to be swiftly sending them back. I ordered my size, plus a size up just in case, and within 18 hours (thank the lord for premier + DPD) they were in my hands. I was feeling optimistic, so I tried the smaller size and to my sheer amazement they were a perfect fit. This never happens to me, EVER so thank you Asos and the denim gods.
I love the style, black, straight leg with a slight flare and frayed hem. I was never too sure on these dramatic frayed hems, but I’m feeling them.
Of course I teamed them with a staple knit from Zara, I love all of their jumpers and have to restrain myself from buying every grey style in sight. They’re just so easy to throw on and keep you snug so therefore worth every penny. Even if you buy 10.
In other non-outfit/jean dilemma news I am SO excited for Christmas. Mainly just Christmas season though, I love this time of the year and I have plenty of festive plans including a trip to Edinburgh planned for December. I also have a few days off this week to undertake vital Christmas activities such as finding the perfect wreath and wrapping paper. Very important. More from me soon!
