5 Year Blog Giveaway!

Holyyyyy shit.

This month my blog turns five years old. Half a decade of tillyjayne.com which is 110% MENTAL. Mostly as I just can’t believe how quickly these five years have gone, although admittedly when I look back at my old posts I look about 13 and had a very questionable sense of style!

This blog has given me more than I could have ever imagine (aaaand that’s about as soppy as it’s gonna get). I was chatting with my boyfriend, Charlie, about it the other day and he mentioned how he could remember when I said to him I wanted to start blogging but I was scared people would take the p*ss. They probably did, BUT boy am I so glad I decided to write my first blog post.

Working with some of my all-time favourite brands has been great, taking part in numerous Asos student campaigns was a huge confidence booster when I was at uni. But it also paved the way for my career. I used my blog as a selling point to bag my first ever fashion internship with Lyle & Scott, and then went on to intern with various brands such as Oh My Love, Dune and Karen Millen. I now work in digital/social media alongside blogging and without this little website of mine I have no idea where I would have ended up, it’s definitely helped my understanding and interest for the online world.
