Lifestyle: A Few Homesense Touches
I love nothing more than spending an hour on a Sunday afternoon having a good mooch in HomeSense. I don’t know how many there are across the country but I assume a fair few! My local HomeSense in Cambridge is a treasure trove of one-off furniture pieces, a million cushions and other various home additions. I love buying bits and bobs for my room, and potential future house. I never leave empty handed and it’s where I’ve bought a lot of my interior pieces. Last weekend I headed over with my mum to check out some of the new summer stock.
It’s no secret I’m a big fan of copper accessories, they’ve become quite a big trend within the blogosphere at the moment with an abundance of copper loving on Instagram. I actually had in my mind that I wanted to pick up a copper terrarium for one of my cacti and I found just that! I spotted another gem, this vintage style copper cocktail mixer. A perfect addition for the summer months, I’m planning a graduation BBQ at mine this summer so this will make an appearance! I can’t wait to get mixing up some mojitos.
As a big lover of stationery, the notebook section in HomeSense gets me almost as excited as I do when I step into Zara. I was drawn towards this leather style journal, and it was less than £5! At the moment Home Sense are going all out with their amazing summer stock (so many big outdoor cushions!) and have lots for the garden, I picked up this white ceramic pot for my palm with a leather strap, the minimal look is right up my street.
So if you’re looking to spruce up your abode this summer I’d recommend a little stroll down to your local HomeSense. Let me know if you post any hauls I love seeing what gems people find!
