Ooooh sorry for the slight abandonment of the blog for the past week or so. I totally zoned out for a bit, mainly due to being busy, illness and well CHRISTMAS of course! I spent a couple of days just before Christmas day in London with Charlie. We stayed at The Montague on the garden hotel, just off Russell Square in Bloomsbury. I’ve stayed here before and it’s a lovely hotel, we wanted a little getaway and the Christmas Ski Lodge sold it to me. Unfortunatley I came down with a really bad cold and migraine the day before we went, I still had a lovely couple of days but it really did zap all energy out of me and I didn’t feel like taking any photos to blog as planned.
Moving on, I strongly dislike sales shopping. I hate crowds of people, messy shops and the overall stress so it’s online for me. This year I won’t be going crazy, I’m going to Centre Parcs at the beginning of January so I want to save some £££ for that (hello spa day). I’ve had a good browse and thought I’d share with you the best bits.
Topshop D Ring Skirt / Whistles Portland Backpack / Warehouse Borg Jacket / River Island Boots / Karen Millen Stole / Warehouse Leather Jacket / Marc Jacobs Necklace / River Island Long Cardigan / Warehouse Turtle Neck Jumper / Coach Monochrome Clutch
I always find the Warehouse sale to be really good, I snagged a complete bargain of a leather jacket in there last time for around 75% off. I’ve got my eye on the black leather above, my current Zara number is getting a bit worn and I think it’s time to upgrade. I’ve adored the Whistles Portland backpack for ages, still quite expensive but a piece I don’t think I would get bored of! I probably don’t need to add to my ever-growing collection of faux furs but this Karen Millen stole has my name all over it, stripes + monochrome = necessary. Oh and I’m seriously considering splurging on the Coach clutch bag I found on Harvey Nicols, isn’t it gorgeous?!
Have you guys bought anything yet or are you avoiding the sales and waiting for the new season?
