Something a little different today, I had a lovely little flower delivery land it’s way onto my desk Tuesday morning which sure brightened up my day! Appleyard London recently got in touch, and asked if I would like to review one of their new S/S bouquets – well of course, who doesn’t love flowers?!

I’ve only ever experienced receiving flowers by post once which was a bit of a nightmare as they arrived outside of their given time slot which meant re-scheduling and put me off using this kind of service again. Until now. My gorgeous bouquet of flowers arrived promptly the next day by DPD. You know you order too much online when you have a favourite courier but I have to say I’m always slightly relieved when it’s DPD, they always arrive on time within a scheduled hour and if you’re out always make an effort to leave with a neighbour. I was really impress at how quick my flowers came and how beautiful they are!

You sometimes see horror stories of people ordering luscious flowers online only to receive a bunch of lame stems and sad looking fleurs. I’m over the moon with my ‘Lilac Scent’ spring bouquet, all the flowers still have lots of life in them and the lilies haven’t even opened yet! I think they’ll look even more beaut once the lilies are in full swing. The colours are very me too, not too bright but a lovely array of subtle lilacs, whites and green.
