As you may have seen in my Christmas gifts post I received a lot of products from e.l.f, I hadn’t tried any of their products before but I often see them floating about on the blogosphere. I’ve been using Benefit Coralista which I was a bit so~so about but I didn’t want to waste it at £23 a pop!

I was really impressed with my first product from elf, for the mere price of £3.50. It is a really pigmented bright pink and I think great quality for the low cost. I would say it’s maybe more suited to an evening look rather than daytime as it’s very glittery! So if that’s not your thing I’d steer clear, personally I liked the shimmer it gave my cheeks. Downsides of the product I would say, is the texture of the blush it feels quite gritty and not as soft and silky as more high end blushers do.

As for packaging I really it I think it looks slick and reminds me of Nars products. It also has the little mirror inside which is handy! I’d like to try out a few more shades that may be better for a more daytime look “tickled pink” has caught my eye, has anyone tried this?

My lipstick is Topshop Brighton Rock (£8), I brought it in the summer but I didn’t think it really suited me especially with my blonde hair I felt like a barbie! With my new dark locks however  I really like it! It has matte finish and does feel a little dry on your lips so I suggest some lip balm first. I’d like to try some more topshop make up – any recommendations?
