As if I’m actually writing up my April wishlist. It feels like two seconds ago it was January but I’m not complaining, so ready for warmer temperatures! I actually had such a lovely spring weekend, it was a rarity but the sun was shining for most of it here in Cambs. I spent Saturday having the usual mooch around Cambridge, it’s getting so busy as it creeps into tourist season, Spanish students eeeeeverywhere. On Sunday Charlie and I hired a couple of bikes and went for a 10+ mile bike ride around a giant lake. It was absolutely exhausting and I literally inhaled a pizza afterwards. It’s got me all excited for summer though, I just can’t wait!

In the next couple of months I’ll be trying to buy a few bits and pieces to take to Sicily and Madrid with me. I’m not sure what the temperature will be like in Madrid next month but I’m hoping it will reach at least 20 degrees. I’d really like to invest in a new backpack, so I’m going to use the excuse it will be handy for city breaks. I’ve been after a Verity backpack for approx 3929 years, I just can’t decide between black or navy…

I think my next splurge might be the gorgeous Joseph knot jumper, I’m obsessed with colour, style and you just know the quality will be spot on. As we creep into summer and I’ll be leaving the house a lot more (lolol) I’ve got my eye on a new clutch for the evenings and I’m feeling the simplicity of this Victoria Beckham style.

Oh and I seriously can’t get enough of unexpected frills, which is strange as it’s quite girly for my usual taste but maybe it’s all that sun. Gone to my head. Give me them ruffles.
