I’ve never been a huuuge sale shopper. You certainly won’t find me queueing up at 5am for the Next sale, this by the way totally bemuses me but each to their own. For me boxing day is about pyjamas, food, the sofa, and a good boxset, any shopping is done online. I usually have a few items in my head that I want and if they’ve gone down in the sale then I’ll nab them.

This year I had a little mooch online, picked up a couple of Burberry nail polishes I wanted, and a few items from Weekday but that’s it so far. I’ve got my eye on a few more expensive items but I think I’ll wait until payday so roll on the 30th!

I’ve done a small roundup for you guys with a few gems I found on my online travels…

Weekday Coat / Frends Headphones / Rag & Bone Purse / Kenzo Bag / Burberry Nail Polish / Aspinal Luggage Tags / Day Birger Et Mikkelsen Scarf / Zoe Karssen Jumper / Whistles Skirt / Elizabeth & James Sunglasses / Rag & Bone Fedora

I couldn’t resist but buy the Frends headphones, I’ve been after them for ages so I was pretty happy when I saw them at 40% off, 50 if you want the black ones – bargain! I just love the camel shade Weekday coat, I actually bought a really similar one in the sale and I’m so tempted for this one too. Coats and jackets are definitely my thing I think 75% of my room is just piles of jackets everywhere haha.

The rest of the items I’ve picked out are all staples and will definitely have a long wardrobe life. I always try and steer away from buying too much (for use of a better word) crap in the sales that’s trend led and probably won’t be in for much longer. That’s becoming my general fashion motto, invest in long lasting pieces and build a solid staple wardrobe.

I was thinking of putting together a sales post for the home. Let me know if you’d like to see this, and link me to your sales posts too!
