Wearing MUA pressed powder shade 2, MUA blusher shade 1 & a variation of eye shadows from the palette available from superdrug
I went on a little beauty spree this weekend and came away with a few products from Make Up Academy from superdrug. I have seen some of their products crop up on other blogs and wanted to give them a go. The palette I brought is "Dusk til Dawn" they have other variations but I liked the look of the pinky shades in this one. I did swatches of the shades I like the look of most, I think the paler colours are my favourite I especially like the two middle shades I swatched, they are similar to naked lunch and jest that I usually wear from mac. I haven't tried them all yet but I wore a combination of the lighter shades last night and I have to say I was really impressed, the colours came out really well and gave a nice shimmer. I'm looking forward to trying out the more daring shades!
I also picked up a powder and blusher from the same brand. I can't compliment the powder enough, the colour was a good match and gave my skin a nice matte complexion. I wore it when I went out last night in place of my usual and I didn't need to top it up all night. I will be keeping this with my regular products. The blusher was ok, I brought shade 1 and it didn't come out quite as bright as I had hoped and I did find the size slightly annoying as I couldn't give it a big enough swoop with my brush but for £1 it really isn't that bad and I will probably use it now and again.
